Understanding Mild Facial Injuries.
We assess soft-tissue injuries involving the lips, cheeks or gums, control bleeding, clean the wound and place sutures when appropriate. We also assess teeth for damage or mobility and advise when hospital care is required for more serious trauma.

Aftercare
After treatment
- Cold compress 10–15 min on/off for 24 hours
- Soft diet and gentle salt-water or chlorhexidine rinses
- Call if swelling, fever, or bleeding worsens
